It’s a super short update this week, because it’s “vacation season” here at Ska Studios and I have a plane to catch. As a result, Gato is one depressed cat. Nobody invited her to go on vacation, so she has to keep her adorable yellow eyes at home and wait for our arrival. Don’t feel too bad for her, because the last time she traveled, our little Gato ended up with a horrible case of motion sickness and suffered from “crazy-insane freaked-out cat disorder”.

Music To My Ears
We heard you loud and clear: You wanted access to the musical awesome that is The Dishwasher: Vampire Smile soundtrack. I really don’t blame you, it’s quite the magical mix of awesome rock tunes, intense beats and emotional riffs. That’s why I worked with James earlier this week to not only make the Vampire Smile soundtrack available, but also music from Dead Samurai and Z0MBIES. I should also mention that all the music is available for the going rate of “pay whatever you want!”

Be sure to check out all the awesome Dishwasher and Z0MBIES tunes at the bandcamp hosted online music store at music.ska-studios.com. And to those who have been requesting Vampire Smile guitar solos, you can expect a separate guitar solo album in the future as well as some ZP2KX audio greatness. Stay tuned.

Don’t mistake Gato’s zombie-like appearance. While it may be frightening at first, she’s actually extremely fond of you and thankful that you commited your Microsoft points to a Vampire Smile purchase this week. Because, you did buy a copy, right? Right? Of course you did. Why wouldn’t you? It’s, like, the best game ever! Or so Gato tells me.

You Have That Vampire Smile
Wow. Wow. WOW! That’s my single word reaction to everything that that happened this past week. Emails flooded my inbox at an insanely rapid pace, our latest trailer and premium theme released, reviews started appearing online as early as Monday and the 24 hour Vampire Smile launch extragavanza turned out to be a super success. It was joyful insanity to the MAX!

Early indications tell us that you, your friends and your friends’ friends are all enjoying the Vampire Smile experience, which is fantastic! Truth be told, there have been a few hiccups along the way, but for the most part, we’re pleased that most are satisfied. Know that we’re listening to you guys (and gals) and will continue to listen as time goes on. We read every email, every comment, every Tweet and every Facebook message good or bad. Without your support and enthusiasm for The Diswasher and the humble indie studio that is Ska Studios, we’re nothing. From the entire team (of three folks), thanks a hundred million times over and over. You rock!

As I was saying, a bunch of Vampire Smile reviews, videos and blurbs have been infecting every corner of the internets. While I know I don’t have to “sell” you on how awesome Vampire Smile is, I figured this to be the best platform to place a few links for your reading enjoyment. I’ll definitely be looking for a way to make the soundtrack available but, unfortunately, the plushies are not being mass produced, thus making them unavailable.
