Happy 1st Birthday The Dishwasher: Dead Samurai!

It may be April Fools’ Day, but this is no joke; Today is exactly one year since The Dishwasher: Dead Samurai released to the Xbox Live Arcade, which also means its Dead Samurai‘s first birthday party ever! Sadly, we forgot to purchase a cake.

Feel free to leave a birthday message below as we’re sure The Dishwasher would enjoy reading your comments and general Dead Samurai feedback. Remember too that The Dishwasher will be back in action in the near future with his upcoming XBLA sequel The Dishwasher: Vampire Smile. Who knows, maybe you’ll be playing that by the time Dead Samurai‘s second birthday celebration comes.

A ginormous “thank you” goes out to everyone who has showed so much love and support over the year for Ska Studios and especially The Dishwasher. Now, we must go buy a delicious cake to appease our birthday-charged sugar cravings.

Hi! I don’t know if you remember me, but the other day at PAX, I played he demo for Vampire smile and bought a tshirt. I’m one of Ubisoft’s Frag Doll Cadettes!

I really can’t say enough about how much I adore the art style of these games, and today I’m purchasing Dead Samurai, and am highly anticipating Vampire Smile.

I’m so excited!!!! One of my favorite games at PAX.

    Happy Belated Birthday Dishwasher!

Returned to this game recently and I must say Mr. Silva, that it is one of the finest titles on the service once the player can get over the difficulty hump.

I returned for a simple bit of hacking and slashing but went on to top my gamerscore up to 200 after it had been stuck around 100 for almost a year, I ended up enjoying the game immensely and plugging a lot of hours into it.

Brutally satisfying, and sometimes unfortunately hard, Dishwasher is most certainly a flawed masterpiece. Cannot wait for Vampire Smile.

Finally managed to get the hat… samurai was brutally hard…. but love every moment of it. I’ve played many games, gotten a good few achievements, but I can honestly say, out of all the games I’ve been driven to finish, this game was the most enjoyable, brutally difficult, and truly satisfying.

Happy belated B-day Dishwasher, and may this year bring in joyous hacking and slashing of more zombies, secret agents, robots, zombie robots, freaks, and the ilk, and I for one hope we can get a demo for Vampire smile soon in the marketplace.

Also, dunno if I am the only one who experienced this, but since I can’t seem to find anyone online playing the game, I’m gonna assume I’m not the only one experiencing horrible play online due to lag. A fix for that in the next one would be greatly appreciated, as well as the ability to play the story online, but if not, then I’ll still gladly shell out whatever price you put on it :-D

May your blades always be lined with the blood (and/or oil) of you enemies, and a trail of bodies (and bullet shells if you use the arsenal) always mark your path through the grand journey of digital-life.
