Editoriffic!
I’ve been working on creating an editor for my free time project, Survival Crisis X, that you use just with an Xbox360 controller, and so far the results are [hate to use this word] pleasing. Here’s a nice shot:
One big difference between the previous shot: it’s 720p, baby! Survival Crisis Z, by contrast, was good old VGA–640×480, and the previous SCX shot was 800×600 (the XNA default). Get with the times, James!

720p is so 2007. Get with the times, go 1080

Could you please, maybe as a addition to your free time project add move able objects to SCX.
I think it would be a really cool addition, if this game becomes complete.
But it will add new meaning to survival with people over XBL, or multiplayer in general if it comes out on PC.
Cause in most zombie games, there isn’t move able objects to barricade your self to be safe, so this will be one of the first to do it.
Oh and since the XNA Creators Club, Xbox Live Community Games went into beta, do you think you could possibly through up versions of this to play test for people? since the Dishwasher is your big title.
You could just let people mess with this and rate it and you can get new ideas and input from the fans on what to add or take out.
(oh and if this doesn’t make it could you just release a dump of what you already made?)

you can ask a hospital and an asylum in the games

James, why is everything you make utterly brilliant?
It’s going to be awfully disappointing when the Dishwasher is released and I still do not have a 360. Regretfully, survival comes just above recreation. But only barely.

You should definatly create SCX after your other project since a cult game can become a popular one…

The Asclepius quote is one thing I now remember by heart. See how much you mean to me, Jim? DO YOU SEE?!

I just recently found this game…all I have to say is AWESOME. 7 megs and free…yet better then games that come out in multiple gigs and cost 50-60 bucks. Also strange, I am 26, live in Upstate NY and am trying to be a writer..although I did almost get a degree in computer science…freaky? Yes…except you live in Utica..which is worse than even where I live (Near Watertown)

[...] The thing that sticks out in my mind the most is a battle to take over a high-level stronghold. I had to fight off a horde of zombies, and it was incredibly brutal. Through attrition, they wore through my defenses, my barricades, and even my partners. In the end I was firing wildly into the crowd and throwing molotovs left and right, and I only won the fight by a narrow margin. It was an incredibly intense fight. As soon as it was over, the stronghold was fine again, the leader conceded to my power, and three brand new partners (with better weapons) took the place of my fallen comrades. While it was incredibly pulse-pounding and elating, I couldn’t help but feel like the game didn’t have true consequences. I could murder, sacrifice compatriots, and torture with no real fear of repercussion, since everything would be righted upon leaving and reentering. That bugged me. I do have high hopes for the remake, though. [...]

I’ve noticed no new updates to SCX, has it died? Did you abandon it James?

I’d like to know, too. It’s right up there in my most anticipated list.

i am a huge fan of SCZ and zombies in general, please PLEASE keep working on this. ive noticed few zombie games keep their promise to deliver the “survival” experience they say they have L4D 1 & 2 are a big staple in zombie games, but they are not survival theyre just shoot shoot kill kill. SCZ was different in the fact that you needed food and rest, and overall a good story. overall many of us zombioholics want a great SURVIVAL zombie game, and i know you can deliver.(sorry for resurrecting this dead post)

Is SCX dead? I hope not, SCZ was and is still amazing, and I would love to play it multiplayer!

Sorry for the double-post, but if you aren’t working on it anymore, maybe you could at least give the code to someone who would be willing to finish it?

Here’s another dude that would totally pay for SCX.
Hell, i’d buy even if it was full retail price as long as it improved on the original. SCZ is one of my favorite zombie games ever, and i’d love to see this remake finished.
no comments?

I would totally buy SCX too, but I’d be a little disappointed if it weren’t the same style as SCZ, this new style is a little to cartoony. :/ I really like the gory, gritty style SCZ has plus it’s all retro with the DOS menu and sprite-based graphics. Basically, pure awesomeness. So really, I’d just hope that SCX would be SCZ in higher resolution or something, with more characters, skins, weapons, zombies, etc. and MULTIPLAYER.

I would buy this game, produce art for this game, or anything it took to get it off the ground. A refined version of SCZ would be huge.

I would pay good money for this, I’ve been playing SCZ since you released it and still to this day.
and I’m really happy your not making a it a xbox exclusive, I was worried about that *with you making 360 games that you would forget us pc users*

Dude if you SCX comes out, I’d happily dish 30-40$ for it. TODAY I was playing SCZ, inspired me to check the site out lately. I still play SCZ often, it has a place in my cold undead heart!

Sorry for the bad grammar, but I admit I’m enthusiastic about this!
