Still trapped…
My flight got canceled a second time, so it looks like I’ll be spending another night in O’Hare in Chicago.
In the meantime, I have another guest column up up bit-tech; I wanted to name it “The One Where I Wax Philosophical” or something but those wacky British editors change the title.
Read: Halo 3 and the Art of Repetition
Update: Looks like I’m in the news again, for all the wrong reasons!

Dude, you rock. I downloaded ZSX2 a couple of days ago on http://game.giveawayoftheday.com/ and I’ve been so addicted to it since. Having a whale of a time playing it. The moves are awesome, and your humour is superb!
So I looked up your website. Not much info. The wiki page (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ska_Studios) is better. I’m delighted that an indie game developer is going places. I wish you luck.
BTW, I am looking all around for the special key combos for ZXS2. I’ve got some fireball thingy, but I don’t know what key combo to be used to fire those.

Also: On http://skasoftware.com/, the link to ZSX2 points to totallyscrewed, which is totally screwed

Dude, that had to suck. I’d go nuts being trapped out there (Provided I lack my laptop
).
ALL IS NOT LOST, for I come bearing compatibility. I found a way to make Vista work with Survival Crisis Z! You see, Vista wasn’t just missing that handful of files that you guys originally thought to be stopping SCZ. No, they were missing A FREAKING TRUCKLOAD of files, even though Windows stated that they tried to support it. So after spending days digging up info and asking around, it finally paid off. The surefire way to get it to work, fixing error 429 AND the white screen, is to copy all .dll, .ocx, and .exe files from XP’s System32 to a flash drive (or something else), and drop it in the System32 folder for Vista (My jaw dropped when I found out the answer was this simple!). Now I realize this will not work if you have never owned XP before and could not get the files needed, but someone could host those files on the intarwebs using a ZIP folder or something, for Vista-only people to download. I freaking love SCZ, and that’s what drove me to find a way to let the world have it.
I hope this helps!
